Hypno partnered with Refinery29 for its annual 29Rooms installation in NYC, where tens of thousands of people showed up to experience the most immersive art-music-technology showcase ever. Hypno’s own room featured 360° visuals, motion-sensing LED floors, music from Tinashe and video booths, resulting in instant GIFs created by and starring participants. Hypno took the idea “to the next level in how the audience powers each room,” said Piera Gelardi, the co-founder and executive creative director of Refinery29.
